After my Government Affairs Conference had ended, I really needed some time to myself to regroup. Since I got back from Christmas break, all of my time at work has been spent planning this conference and even though I really love when my guys come to town, I am usually grateful when the last ones board the plane back to Arkansas, Louisiana and California!
Friday we had a joint celebration for mine and Kent's birthday... the girls beat the boys at Cranium and then we played Rock Band. It's safe to say that the boys won there. I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends here... doesn't matter what we've got going on, we always have a good time.
Saturday was Valentine's... by far not my favorite holiday. My coworker Ekta and I went into the city to watch girlie movies and have red velvet cupcakes! I think it was the perfect way to spend the "romantic" holiday-- we are single, fabulous and proud of it! I definitely loved "He's just not that into you." We laughed the whole time!
It was really refreshing not to have to spend Monday in the office-- I got to enjoy some "me" time and it was wonderful! Hope those of you who had the day off had a day of indulgence as well!
Now...back to work!
