I will admit... I am a sucker for foodie tv shows. I could watch the FoodNetwork all day long and I really enjoy the reality food shows. Top Chef, Next FoodNetwork Star, FoodNetwork Challenge, Iron Chef America-- you name it, I'll probably like it.
Last night was the premiere of Top Chef on Bravo. Although I missed the first part and had forgotten to DVR it, the last challenge where the contestants cooked their "vices" was really neat.
I can't say that I was sad to see Jennifer Z. go... those things in her ears really creep me out. Seriously, how can you get those things put in your ears?! Then again, who am I to judge?
I am also very sad that the guy from the DC restaurant was the one with the horrible attitude. The whole time I was watching I really didn't like him- even though his halibut dish wasn't a complete flop with the judges. Next week is restaurant week in DC... guess I won't be visiting Zatinya, Mike I's restaurant!

LOVED this post...I am a big fan of all of these shows myself and was so excited for Top Chef last night. I have really enjoyed Top Chef Masters this summer and wish I could have been there at the judges table last night. Maybe one of these days we will make it to DC and you can be our tour guide for all of the best restaurants! Look forward to reading your thoughts on this season's Top Chef!
