And the award goes to...

I have a date on Sunday night with a fellow named Oscar... while most people are excited to see which movie will win the best motion picture, I am way more excited about what the ladies will be wearing as they walk the red carpet.

Stars usually reserve their best dresses for Oscar... so I am excited to see what Hollywood will pull out of her closet for Sunday night! I am definitely rooting for Sandra Bullock to win for her performance in The Blind Side. She did an incredible job of playing an incredible lady. I haven't seen most of the best picture nominees, but I am rooting for anything that isn't Avatar. The blue people really creeped me out, and I think James Cameron is just too cocky. I did see the Hurt Locker and really liked it... I'm also rooting for Katherine Bigelow to beat her ex-husband James Cameron out for best director. He left her for the gal from Titanic- you stay classy JC!

Regardless of who wins, this Sunday evening you can find me camping out on my couch with Samantha and Whitney while we watch beautiful dresses and jewels walk down the red carpet for the 2010 Oscars! I also hope that Steve Martin does a majority of the hosting this year... I don't find Alec Baldwin that funny.

I saw an interview on the Today show this morning with Lauren Bacall where they talked about her lifetime achievement award... not only does she have a great name, but she's got a fiery personality to go with it! (AND she was married to Humphrey Bogart!!!) You can see her acceptance speech here. What an incredible lady! She was in one of my all-time favorite films... How to Marry a Millionaire!
