To-Do!

For many of you who know me well, you know that I have many lists... grocery store, work stuff, social calendar, books to read, clothes to pack on my next trip, etc. A little obsessive... possibly?!

Ok... so I was inspired by my friend Emily to make another list-- this one would be about all the things I want to do with my life. A "bucket list" if you will. You should make one too!

1) Go on a mission trip

2) Snorkel the Great Barrier Reef

3) Watch a World Series game with my Dad

4) Backpack at least 3 countries in Europe

5) Walk the Great Wall of China
6) Visit all 50 states (31 so far)
7) See the Pyramids and the Sphinx
8) Skydive
9) Be invited to bowl in the White House
10) Attend an Olympic event
11) Have a family
12) Watch a baseball game in each of the great venues-- Yankees Stadium, Fenway Park, Wrigley Field (went to Yankee stadium before it closed)
13) Play golf with my family at St. Andrews
14) Learn to make the perfect cheesecake
15) Go on an African safari
16) Own a winery
17) Cruise the Greek Isles
18) Watch the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas
19) Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane
20) Visit Machu Picchu
21) See the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro
22) Manage the ranch with my brother
23) See the face statues on Easter Island
24) Experience Stonehenge

A few things I've already done:
1) Ski the Swiss Alps
2) Live in another country (Mexico, study abroad)
3) Peak a 14-er (Columbia in Colorado)
4) Learn another language (although I should practice more!)
5) Live in our nation's capital
6) See the Tree at Rockefeller Center
7) Tour a winery in the Napa Valley
8) See the Eifel Tower at night
9) Go on a White House Christmas tour
10) Experience Mardi Gras

I better get a move on! :)

And if you haven't seen the movie... you totally should!

  1. I love your list...really gets me thinking about what would be on mine! Right now, though, I think my #1 will be to get Reese to sleep through the night soon! :)
