Boivin's Bachelorette Bash

This past weekend we stole my friend Amy for a surprise bachelorette party in Boston. The entire trip was a series of surprises... and we loved every minute of it

When we picked the bride-to-be up on Friday, she had just learned that she'd be going somewhere for the weekend and we helped her finish packing her bags. We then drove her to BWI airport claiming that we'd be spending the weekend in Tampa... or Austin... although she'd kinda had a hint from her sister's facebook status! Hey, I was proud that I was able to keep the secret from May-September... it wasn't me!

After landing in Boston, she discovered that the cab company we'd called was actually our friend Taylor and her brother Jay... who kindly escorted us to our hotel in Cambridge. Amy was so surpsied to see our T!! She then discovered that the entire wedding party was at the hotel and we'd had shirts made to wear out on Saturday night.
On Saturday we grabbed lunch nearby and Amy was surprised by her dear friend Krista who'd flown in from Arizona for the girls weekend... then the group met up with her friends from college- Sarah and Dianna. Sam and I skipped the Duck tour in order to take a walking tour of Harvard Square... it was really great to hang out in the same places my grandfather must have gone when he was at Harvard.

After a super fun lingerie party in the hotel, the group of 12 ventured out to Fanueil Hall for a night on the town. After eating dinner at Zuma's Tex-Mex and making Amy wear a sombrero at dinner, Taylor and I taught the girls how to dunk their rings...

We had a great time in Boston celebrating our ABO before she becomes Mrs. Ray Wotring on October 10th... I'm so glad I got to meet so many of her friends before the wedding so we can all enjoy each other's company at the wedding, which will be at Sunset Hills Vineyard in Purcellville, VA!
