We're down to the wire folks.... I leave for Zurich on Friday and couldn't be more excited! A prime example that I am my father's child, he and I are the only ones who are packed for our family adventure. We've been chatting each day about what we're bringing, things we need to pick up before leaving, etc.
My mom sent these space saving bags that you can pack things in and get all the air out of them by rolling them up until they're flat-- what a great idea, they have saved me tons of space! I am trying to follow cousin Michele's packing advice, but it's not easy for me to remove clothes from my bag as I like to be prepared for any situation. Regardless, I have removed one sweater and decided against the extra pair of jeans!
On another note, I went to a Robert Earl Keen acoustic show in Annapolis last night and it was quite possibly one of the best concerts I have ever attended. I don't know if any REK concert will match the one we went to in high school when I backed into the Everett's fence after dropping off Kat and Ash, but this one was definitely a lot of fun! I couldn't help but smile and sing along when he started to sing "Feels so good, feeling good again"
