That's what I love about Sunday....

I recently read an article in the Washingtonian about "26 reasons to love living in Washington" and it made me sit back and think about why I love living here.

One of my favorite parts of the city is the National Cathedral. When I lived in Alexandria, you could see the Cathedral on the hill in Glover Park, almost watching over the rest of our city. It was beautiful to see it lit up each night.

I have lived here for 3 years and hadn't attended church there... so I thought this past Sunday was the perfect opportunity. It was a beautiful early summer day, and I was really grateful to be worshipping in such a marvelous place. God is so good!

The tourists drove me a little crazy... something about not turning off your cell phones in church really bugs me. Here are a few photos from my Sunday adventure to Glover Park, one of the prettiest neighborhoods in DC, and home of the famed Cathedral.
