After standing in line for 4 hours with some great girlfriends, we finally got to meet the Pioneer Woman. We got stuck in traffic and missed her opening speech, but we heard that it was very short since there were so many people who had come to see her. Within 20 minutes of the beginning of the book signing, the Borders' store was full of young women, mothers with babies, and dad's who clearly got drug along for the ride...Ree Drummond was everything I had hoped she would be. She was witty and charming... she made everyone feel like she was there just for them. My friends and I were so excited to take a picture with her...
Now our mission is to have a dinner party and only make PW recipes.... which means we'll have to fast the entire day before to balance out our calories!
