My dear friend Chris Martin got married last weekend in Waxahachie.... it was the first time my college friends had all been together since 2005, crazy! We were so excited to spend the weekend celebrating Chris and Lacy-- the weekend started on Friday when Shel, Callie and I went to the rehearsal dinner to meet up with Brett and Nathan. It was so fun to sit around the table at Johnny Carino's and catch up... all those old stories from college seemed a lot more funny 2 years later!
On Saturday, we woke up and made pancakes... one of the"northerners" requests was that we hit up Whataburger before the weekend was over. It was sooooo hot! We were scared of how the evening would go with an outside wedding/reception!
After picking up Kyle's fiance Marcy to take with us, we braved the heat and headed to the ceremony location. It was sweltering, but we survived and tried to be inside the barn as much as possible! Not only is that where the bar and food was, but it was also the only air conditioning there!
We had a great time dancing with friends and laughing together! I missed these guys! Here are a few photos from our weekend adventures...
