This time of the year is really hectic with two conferences in one month.... my biggest fundraiser of the year happens at the Rice Millers' Association Convention, which was held last week in Amelia Island, Florida. For some reason, I felt more pressure than ever to raise a lot of money, and it felt like my work load this summer was much heavier than usual.Because I have the most incredible friends in the world, two of my friends sent me flowers to let me know that I was doing a good job and to wish me luck at my big event.
Taylor sent flowers while I was at work... they're the yellow lilies with the daisies that I got to enjoy the entire week before I left for Convention. When I arrived at the hotel in Florida, Joe had arranged for the stargazers to be in my room that afternoon and they got prettier each day I was there!I am so blessed to have such incredible friends- these flowers really made me happy and were the perfect way to de-stress before and during my biggest event of the year... and by the way, it was hugely successful!
